July Summer Reading Programs

Summer Library Programs

Be sure to get your brag tag and collect daily beads until July 31st. We’ll be handing out special beads at programs, plus you can earn a glow in the dark bead for completing the 100 Book Challenge.

Many of our summer decorations are also prizes for kids. Just check out something at the library, and you’ll be entered to win. You can also complete our treasure hunt and receive a prize from our treasure chest.

July 10 – Camp Stuffie, 10 a.m. to noon or 1 to 3 p.m. drop off

Summer Camp has been a tradition for many kids, so why not have their best friends have their own camp experience? Drop off your stuffed animal friend to the library from 10 a.m. to noon or 1 to 3 p.m. and they’ll spend the night in the library having adventures. Photos will be shared on the library’s Facebook page.

July 11 – Camp Stuffie pick up - 10 a.m. to noon or 1 to 7 p.m.

July 17 – Scout’s Legacy, 9 a.m.

Scout's Legacy (scoutslegacy.com) trains and places Service Dogs with disabled individuals. Come visit them at the library.

July 24 - Touch A Truck - 9 a.m.

See vehicles such as the firetruck and ambulance up close. Talk to staff from EMS, Fire Department, Police, and Public Works about the tools they use.

July 31 - Splash Day - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Enjoy water slides, and don’t forget your sunscreen!
