Tiny Art Show

Tiny Art Show

This event is open to all ages. Kits will include a 3x3 inch canvas on a wooden easel, brushes, and a paint sampler if needed. One kit per person, please, as supplies are limited. Artists are welcome to use materials and supplies from home to create their pieces, but must use the 3x3 inch canvas. All mediums are welcome including paint, pencils, pen, needlework, sculpture, mixed media, etc.

The Rules:

1.      Create a piece of art using the medium of your choice (paint, color pencils, etc.). If you use paint, please ensure that the canvas is completely dry before returning it to the library.

2.     Please do not use any canvas other than the one provided. Do not frame your canvas. Write your name and phone number/email on the back of the canvas. If needed, draw an arrow to indicate up so the art can be displayed correctly.

3.     You can choose the subject of your artwork, but please keep it family friendly. The library reserves the right to exclude any works.

4.     Deadline to turn them in for display will be June 30th. Art will be on display in the library until July 31st.

5.     If you wish to keep your artwork after the art show, please pick it up at the library between July 31st and August 7th.

6.     By submitting your art, you are giving Whitewright Public Library permission to publicly display, photograph and promote it.
