March 2010

Advisory Board reviewed revised building plans from Jim Wilson Architects.

June 2006

Received a $10,000 bequest from the Estate of Claire Doss Simmons.

January 2005

Advisory Board selected Jim Wilson Architects of McKinney.

May 2004

Secured three lots adjacent to the bank lots from the Estate of Jane Meador Cook. Funds used were from donations. You can see photos of the house on the lots being demolished here.

July 2001

Independent Bank makes a formal commitment to the library to deed four lots for the building project.
