Summer Reading at the Library

Summer Reading at the Library

This year’s Summer Reading Program begins on June 1st. Kids can pick up their “brag tag” (choose from 10 different designs), then every time they visit the library throughout June and July, they’ll get a bead to add to their tag chain. Brag tags are sponsored by Legend Bank.

We’ll have weekly drawings for plush animals inspired by this year’s theme, Oceans of Possibilities. Each time you visit the library in June and July, you can drop in your library receipt for a chance to win. Three special animals – a narwhal, squid, and zebra shark – will have their drawing at the end of July. Sponsored by Jake Shockley State Farm.

There will be a treasure hunt in June and July. Pick up a copy of the search list at the library, and bring it in before the end of July to select a prize from our treasure chest. Our thanks go out to local businesses for participating, but we can’t reveal their names yet or we’ll spoil the hunt.

We’ll have our in-person programs in July, and we are finalizing the program schedule now. Look for the full calendar soon.
